What was Neoware?

Neoware made purpose-built thin clients for environments where applications and desktops lived on a server. A Capio therefore was not intended to compete with a tower PC: its job was to provide display, input, networking, and the client software needed to reach a remote session.

What was the Capio 620 designed for?

The hardware fits the classic thin-client pattern. A small local operating environment handled startup and connectivity while heavier work happened elsewhere through terminal, remote-desktop, or similar services.
